5 religions

Today in Human Geo we talked about the different types of religions. The first religion we went over was Christianity. This is the most common religion and has 2.2 billion followers. People who follow Christianity are known as Christians. Christians are mainly located in the areas of Europe, the Americas, and southern Africa. The other religion we talked about in class today was Islam. People who follow the Islamic religion are known as Muslim. 1.5 billion people are followers of the Islamic religion. It's geographic location is mainly Indonesia, Middle East, and North Africa. The main 2 denominations are sunnies and shiites. Tomorrow in class we will go over 3 more religions.
